Try
Catch a failure anywhere in the steps that follow.
flow.try watches the path wired to Try. If a step on it fails, the rest of the path is dropped and the run goes on from If any fails. It can't fail itself.
Settings
None.
Ways out
| Way out | Taken when |
|---|---|
Try | Straight away: the steps to watch. |
If any fails | A step on that path failed. What went wrong is {error.message}. |
When it worked | The path finished without a failure. |
Notes
- A step with its own If it fails turned on takes its own way out instead.
- It catches failures in loops on the path, and in flows it runs.
- A failure inside a Try inside another Try goes to the innermost.
Example
Try: Send an API request, then Read JSON, then Add row. If any fails, log {error.message} as an error and reply "Something went wrong, try again later."
